For the first time, the Chuchchepati Orchestra is playing with a larger line-up. Eight string instruments are doubled via 16 loudspeakers. The piece “sweet.sour” does not require a conductor and is conducted using only acoustic signals. The extensive experience of all the musicians involved calls for open musical spaces in order to allow the creativity of all participants to flow optimally into the piece. The instruments are distributed live through the loudspeakers in the room, slowly changing their positions and creating a unique spatial sound experience. The natural resonance of the loudspeakers further enriches the overall sound of the string orchestra.
Zum ersten Mal spielt das Chuchchepati Orchestra in einer größeren Besetzung. Acht Streichinstrumente werden über 16 Lautsprecher verdoppelt.
Das Stück „sweet.sour“ kommt ohne Dirigent:in aus und wird nur mit akustischen Signalen geleitet. Die große Erfahrung aller beteiligten Musiker:innen lässt offene musikalische Räume zu, um die Kreativität aller Beteiligten optimal in das Stück einfließen zu lassen.Die Instrumente werden live über die Lautsprecher im Raum verteilt, verändern langsam ihre Position und ein einzigartiges räumliches Klangerlebnis schaffen. Die natürliche Resonanz der Lautsprecher bereichert den Gesamtklang des Streichorchesters zusätzlich.
